Tips For Getting More Referrals Domain Using Blog Commenting

Image
If you do it right, there will be discussions in the comments, which are very good, animates the website, and also creates other important content. It is also very important that you always remain friendly and write as if you were sitting across from them. Unfortunately, many people forget their manners online. But if the blog owner sets a good example, then most users stick to it. Switch off “nofollow” Some blog readers are looking for links to their own websites and blogs. You can take advantage of this by switching off the “nofollow” for comment links (via WP plug-in). This allows Google to follow up on the links in the comments and the commenters benefit from having left a comment. But beware of too brazen link hunters. I recently had a user who wrote a small 3-line comment on a post. So far, okay. However, I found 6 more comments from this user on other posts and always with a nice (similar) little text. That was too obvious and that's why the comments were deleted from me. T

Tips for Getting More Blog Comments?

Image
Comments are the icing on the cake for any blog. Without comments, a blog looks deserted and not very popular. Comments lead to discussions, which again attracts more attention. But how do I get as many comments as possible? This is particularly difficult in the early stages. That's why you can find my top 8 tips for more blog comments here today. Why are comments so important? Comments are very important for a blog because blogs are not a one-way street. A good blog has a large number of regular readers who come back regularly. This creates something like a community feeling, even if the communication is not as intense, such as in a forum or a Facebook group. Comments make a blog look alive and successful. There are many Internet users who are more drawn to blogs that are already very well used. It's like the top sellers in online shops.  The discussion among the visitors creates user-generated content and thus even more content that Google can analyze. Dedicated readers are u

How SPAM Links On Comment Can Effect SEO Ranking?

As we know there are also the tricksters who set up websites that do nothing other than browsing the web in order to either copy entire articles from third-party sites and post them in their own offer or to link to articles from third-party sites. Such pages then send trackbacks to the linked blog posts in order to lure search engines to their own offer via this detour. This trackback SPAM is a certain problem in my blogs that I don't want to have - and that is rigorously filtered and deleted. Because of the amount of SEO comment spam that I get every day from bots and two-legged internet nomads from the third world, I am forced to run SPAM protection in WordPress and also a SPAM filter plugin. Just as a hint: A plugin is currently showing me: '44 .497 spam comments were blocked '- a lot of wood that you can no longer handle by hand. Notes on moderating comments: As a result, when you write a comment, you may get the feeling that the comment has been swallowed because it do

Comment nesting and editing

By the way, comments are nested up to five levels. From the fifth indentation level onwards, the relevant plug-in hides the answer link. You can comment in these cases by going to the answer link of the comment of the previous level. Comments can usually be corrected several minutes after they have been sent. A plugin makes this possible (the remaining time is displayed), provided the browser tab has not yet been closed. The second reason why I have not pursued this further is legal in nature. I would need a double opt-in for something like that, which would have caused me a lot of work with the GDPR - everything has to be managed and secured against misuse. So I do without it. Comment SPAM and filtering: Now we come to the negative side of the topic 'Commenting here on the blog'. As a blog operator, I try to make commenting as easy as possible for visitors - I gave the relevant information in the previous paragraphs.  Comment, trackback, and SEO spam: Popular blogs and website

Blog Commenting for SEO?

The URL field is also not used to post SEO and comment spam with links to any service pages here. Comments that do not contribute anything to the article and are obviously SPAM will be deleted (see also the following explanations in the text). Images and formatting in comments: Occasionally, commentators try to include images in the text and use BBS notation of the type [url…]. This is not supported - and I consciously refrain from using a plug-in that enables the upload of images. The reasons: Once security - because in the past this was exactly the gateway to various blogs to upload malware or to compromise WordPress via plugins. Second reason: With pictures like this one trashes my webspace with the hoster. Every uploaded image takes up storage space - and if it is not optimized, there is quickly a layer in the shaft. The pictures I have included in the blog posts have a maximum width of 640 pixels and are tailored to the layout of the blog. If a picture is included in the

Guideline for Commenting on Blogs

Image
The guideline for the comment here in the blog is for me: Everyone should be able to comment, as long as it is relevant to the topic and does not violate morality (i.e. no personal insults below the belt, hate speech, or illegal/criminal content - and no SEO spam for any price comparison sites). However, I try to intervene as little as possible, as it quickly becomes censored (only SPAM is thrown out). At this point, a big thank you to all blog readers, so far the comment style here in the blog has been very civilized for my taste. No registration needed: Some blogs and websites only allow registered users to comment. For security reasons, I do not allow you to log into the blog, for example, to only allow this group of people to comment. This decision saved me a few headaches in terms of the GDPR, because: If I don't save any visitor login data, I can't lose it either. It is also more convenient for occasional blog visitors to be able to write a comment directly. Here it
