Tips For Getting More Referrals Domain Using Blog Commenting

If you do it right, there will be discussions in the comments, which are very good, animates the website, and also creates other important content.

It is also very important that you always remain friendly and write as if you were sitting across from them. Unfortunately, many people forget their manners online. But if the blog owner sets a good example, then most users stick to it.

Switch off “nofollow”

Some blog readers are looking for links to their own websites and blogs. You can take advantage of this by switching off the “nofollow” for comment links (via WP plug-in). This allows Google to follow up on the links in the comments and the commenters benefit from having left a comment.

But beware of too brazen link hunters. I recently had a user who wrote a small 3-line comment on a post. So far, okay. However, I found 6 more comments from this user on other posts and always with a nice (similar) little text. That was too obvious and that's why the comments were deleted from me.

Tell a story:

Arousing emotions often leads to more readers commenting. Therefore it is important to tell a story in your own article, describe experiences, and to offer personal insights.

It can be a sad story, for example, or a success story. But it should definitely be real. Don't lie to your readers!

Especially when the readers can empathize or are touched by the story, they will leave more comments.

Make comments as easy as possible:

I have already seen comment fields with captchas (these are the more or less legible pictures with letters and/or numbers on them) or math protection (a small arithmetic problem). That doesn't have to be the case and it just keeps users from commenting.

High DA, PA Sites:

I tried the math plugin here on the blog a long time ago, but that only made it less commented. Instead, I recommend using Antispam Bee, which filters out spam and works very reliably for me.

It is also important that correct error descriptions are output in the event of incorrect entries. In addition, the fields filled in up to now should also be filled with the content already entered if an error has occurred. Nothing is more annoying than having to write a detailed comment again. Most readers don't.

Respond to comments in your own posts
We have already discussed the topic of “taking readers seriously” above. This also includes adding hints, criticism, etc. from readers in your own posts. In a software overview, for example, you can thank the commenter who recommended a certain tool in the comments of an older post. Blog readers are only human and are happy when they are taken seriously.

Likewise, certain post topics only come through comments. You should mention that in the post and show the readers that you read their comments and that they have an influence.

Exceptional content
Good content naturally also helps to collect as many comments as possible. For example, interviews have worked well for me. Especially when it was interviews with well-known bloggers or on controversial topics.

Top lists are also still very popular, and in my experience, a particularly large number of readers comment there.

If you offer special content, this will of course also interest more readers and the chance of comments is higher. It's best to combine this with the tips above.
